Adam Taylor, Executive Director
Adam Taylor joined Global to Local in May of 2010 and is responsible for the overall management of the organization. Adam previously worked as a Project Manager for the Grameen Technology Center on the Ugandan-based Community Knowledge Worker project, which leverages the power of mobile phones to help small-holder farmers access important information such as market prices. From 2005-2007, Adam served as Program Manager for Catholic Relief Services in Madagascar.
He graduated from the University of Washington, Evans School of Public Affairs with a Master of Public Administration.
Allison Mountjoy, Project Coordinator
Allison joined Global to Local in 2015 to work in dual roles managing the Leadership Program and coordinating the Food Innovation Network. Her previous work has focused on project management, community engagement, and communications. Allison holds degrees in Anthropology, Environmental Studies, and Food Policy and is certified in Systems Design. She continues to maintain an adjunct faculty position at Seattle University where she teaches food systems courses.
Ann Ngo, Office Manager
Prior to joining Global to Local in September of 2013, Ann worked in administrative departments at various community health and immigrant nonprofit organizations in Seattle and Washington state.
Ann graduated from the University of Washington with degrees in Public Health and English. She earned a Master of Public Health degree from Portland State University.
Fareeha Siddiqui, Director of Research and Innovation
Dr. Siddiqui joined the Global to Local team in 2012. She currently directs the Mobile Health Project, which focuses on the development of cost-effective remote monitoring, sustainable health promotion interventions, and improvement of health care delivery for residents in the SeaTac/Tukwila area.
Her previous work has been with studies/projects that examined efforts to improve quality by increasing access to care using integrated delivery systems, managed care and patient-physician relationships, and preventive technologies for populations suffering from chronic disease.
Her research interests include: effectiveness of health behavior/health promotion interventions; impact of Tele-health on health care management and delivery; design and performance of health care systems.
Gracious Gamiao, Program Assistant Level II
In October of 2013, Gracious joined Global to Local as a research assistant for the Mobile Health Project. She is committed to helping people from all walks of life attain the healthy lifestyle they always dreamed about through innovative interventions.
Gracious brings with her a bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of Washington with a passion for public health.
Jennifer Huynh, Program Assistant
In April of 2013, Jennifer joined Global to Local as a volunteer for the Connection Desk. Since then, she has become a Lead Intern and now a Program Assistant for the Connection Desk. She has also played a role in developing the Resource Database for the Connection Desk and have presented to numerous community partners on how to utilize the database. She continues to be passionate on improving the overall health of a community by assisting individuals and applying public health strategies to solve problems.
Jennifer will be receiving her bachelor's degree in Public Health from the University of Washington on June 2015.

Community Health Workers
Global to Local Community Health Workers are tasked with improving access to care, developing leadership in the community and providing health education and resources to the underserved populations in SeaTac/Tukwila.​
Aisha Dahir, Somali Community Health Worker
Originally from Somalia, Aisha came to the Seattle area in 1996 and attended Foster High School in Tukwila. Due to her long time relationships in the area, she was asked to help actively engage members of her community with the opening of the Abu Bakr mosque on International Boulevard. Prior to joining Global to Local in 2012, Aisha worked as a Cultural Medical Interpreter at Harborview Medical Center. In this role, she worked to bridge cultural gaps that exist between Somali patients and their medical providers.
Aisha holds a Bachelors of Arts in Social Welfare from the University of Washington and an Associate’s degree from Highline Community College.
Monica Davalos, Latino Community Health Worker
In the spring of 2012, Monica began her relationship with Global to Local as an active participant in the various nutrition and physical activity programs offered by the Latino Community Health Worker. As a result, her leadership capabilities and connections with the Latino community in the area propelled her into the role of Latino Community Liaison. In partnership with G2L’s Latino CHP, she has been instrumental in facilitating increased participation from the Latino community. In 2007, Monica was a Latino leader as part of the Community Schools Collaboration parent leadership program where she conducted outreach and supported monthly Latino parent nights at Showalter Middle School. Monica has lived with her family in Tukwila for nearly ten years.
